Heart-failure spike after Japan earthquake

New data from Japan indicate a striking and sustained increase in the occurrence of heart failure there following the massive earthquake in March 2011. Researchers also showed that incidence of other cardiovascular diseases and pneumonia were elevated. Editorialists, however, question the findings.
