Small increased risk of CV events with diclofenac

The European Medicines Agency has concluded in a new review that the NSAID diclofenac has a small but consistent increased risk of cardiovascular side effects compared with other NSAIDs. It has ordered a risk assessment on the agent to consider updating treatment advice.
