Exercise as Good as Revascularization in PAD

A supervised exercise program involving 30 minutes walking on a treadmill twice a week was as good as revascularization in patients with symptomatic peripheral arterial disease, new data show. In practice, patients will probably require both of these treatments, as well as some medical therapy, says one expert.
