Apixaban: A good choice for AF patients with renal dysfunction?

Although not yet approved for the prevention of stroke in patients with atrial fibrillation, a new analysis of ARISTOTLE suggests apixaban might be the best-option anticoagulant for the subset of patients with moderate renal dysfunction, who are currently a difficult population to treat.
